Thermory's Western Red Cedar sauna bench boards come in the SHP profile, 26 × 140 mm with an R4 radiused edge, supplied as a pack of three 2450 mm boards. Western red cedar is a premium softwood with a recognisable, beautiful scent and colouring that ranges from rich dark brown with red undertones to creamy beige, while its naturally antifungal, heat resistant character means it will last for years in a sauna. The 26 mm thickness helps prevent warping and twisting over time, and this A-grade timber carries a recommended wastage allowance of 20%. We normally ship timber up to 2400 mm long; beyond that, shipping costs rise significantly, so our cutting service can cut a full-length board down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
