Our Thermo Aspen Sauna Wood Moulding (SI) 

The Thermory SI 25x25mm moulding is a corner trim profile that will create a smooth finish to the interior of the sauna room by covering the inward-facing corners. Corner mouldings are often overlooked in DIY projects, but they are an important finishing touch in any sauna build. 

The SI moulding is fixed into the corners of the sauna space; around the edges of the ceiling and corners where the walls meet. The small, rounded face will sit tidily in the corners and create a clean finish by covering any gaps left between the cladding panels.

About our Thermo Aspen Mouldings 

Our thermo aspen is created by heat-treating soft timber. The natural heat treatment reduces moisture levels of the wood, giving it a tough and rot resistant structure, which does not secrete resin in high temperatures and the moisture rich environment of a sauna. Thermo aspen has a pleasant, toasted scent and a honey-brown colouration. The grain of thermo aspen sauna wood products is straight and knot-free, making it a stylish and easy maintenance timber choice for a sauna.

Wastage Allowance for Thermo Aspen SI Moulding   

Our thermo aspen sauna timber is of A-grade quality, characterised by their durable, knot- free and low risk of splintering properties. As such, we recommend a wastage allowance of 15% for our thermo aspen wood sauna corner moulding. This also takes into account any potential risk of damage that can occur during transportation.

Shipping Information on Sauna Timber  

Depending on the size and quantity of your sauna timber order, the shipping costs may vary and will be calculated at checkout. Shipping costs also differ between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes. Many of our timber products will be shipped using a palletised shipping service due to their big and bulky nature and may require a kerbside drop or handballing off the freight vehicles. Please take time to read our Shipping and Delivery Information carefully before placing an order for our thermo aspen moulding.  
 
Please note that due to certain constraints of our shipping networks, we usually ship timbers of up to 2400m lengths, beyond those lengths the costs for shipping will increase quite significantly. If you do require longer timber lengths, our shipping calculator will indicate associated costs for such shipping.  
  

If we do not have your required length, but have a longer length available, to avoid higher shipping rates, it is worth considering our cutting service. You will still need to purchase the full length, but for a small fee, we can cut this down to your desired length to help reduce shipping costs. The off-cut will be added onto the pallet.

Christmas and New Year's Delivery Notice

Please note the following changes to our pallet shipping and DPD delivery service on parcel orders over the Christmas period.

Our warehouse is fully closed for operation over the following days: Wednesday 24 December, Thursday 25 December, Friday 26 December, Wednesday 31 December and Thursday 1 January.

Orders requiring a pallet

The last dispatch date for orders requiring a pallet is Friday 19th December 2025. Pallet orders dispatched on this day must be booked and signed for with one of our sales team representatives latest by close of business on Friday 19th December 2025.

Please note:

• Pallets dispatched on 19th December will be delivered on either 22nd or 23rd December, depending on your postcode
• We strongly advise against booking deliveries to the Highlands or Channel Islands close to the 19th December, as these may be held at the hub over the festive period
• There may be limited availability for pallet shipping on this day and we cannot guarantee that available slots remain

We will commence our regular pallet shipping service on Monday 5th January 2026.

Small Parcel Orders

DPD will deliver as normal up to and including Tuesday 23rd December 2025. Orders for next day delivery must be placed latest by 3pm.

Limited dispatch service: We will dispatch DPD orders on Monday 29th December and Tuesday 30th December only during the festive closure period.

We will commence our regular delivery service on Monday 5th January 2026.

*Estimated delivery times are applicable to the UK mainland only (excludes Highlands and Islands). Additional delays and charges will be required for Non-UK Mainland and Highlands and Islands deliveries.
