Thermory's thermo aspen edge module finishes the right-hand corner of your sauna benching, giving ready-made 140 mm bench elements a clean, completed look. Like the matching bench modules, it is thermally modified: natural heat treatment reduces the timber's moisture content, leaving a tough, rot resistant board that secretes no resin in the heat and humidity of a sauna. The grain is straight and knot free, with a honey-brown colouration and a pleasant, toasted scent. Each edge module is 200 mm wide and 140 mm thick, and comes in 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm lengths to match your bench depth. Thermo aspen is created by heat-treating soft timber. Bench elements travel on a palletised shipping service due to their size and may require a kerbside drop or handballing off the freight vehicle. Shipping is calculated at checkout and varies between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes. We normally ship timber up to 2400 mm long; beyond that, shipping costs rise significantly, so for longer boards our cutting service can cut a full-length board down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
