It forms a protective layer that helps the timber resist moisture, dirt and everyday wear, while keeping its natural character and gently deepening its tone. Applied after cleaning, it keeps benches looking their best and helps extend the life of the wood. Developed and made in Finland.

How to use
Clean the wooden surfaces thoroughly with sauna/ing Sauna Wood Cleaner and allow them to dry completely. Apply the oil evenly to the clean, dry wood with a lint-free cloth and leave it to absorb for around 15 minutes, adding a second coat if needed. Then heat the sauna to 60°C (140°F) and wipe away any excess oil with a clean cotton cloth.
Safety
Paraffin oil is not the same as regular paraffin. Never treat a sauna with standard paraffin, which is a fire hazard. Use only a purpose-made paraffin oil such as this.
