Thermory's aspen floor grid is a safe, stylish and easy-care addition to a tiled sauna floor. Aspen is the lightest of our sauna woods, ranging from light brown to nearly white with a uniform, straight grain and few to no knots, and it does not weep resin, one reason for its popularity in home saunas. The grid measures 600 mm by 1200 mm and is 14 mm thick. It is a non-fixed panel, designed to be lifted regularly for airing and cleaning to help prevent waterlogging and warping, rather than installed as permanent flooring. Other sizes are available separately to suit your space.

Using the floor grid
These floor grids are non-fixed panels, designed to be lifted easily for regular airing and cleaning to help prevent waterlogging and warping. They are not intended for permanent installation or use as fixed flooring. The grid is available in different measurements to suit your needs, and ready-made elements like this are ideal for DIY projects.

Thermory, founded in Estonia in 1997, is the largest manufacturer of thermally modified wood in the world. Its thermal modification is fully natural and chemical-free, and its sauna range spans both thermally modified and untreated timbers.
Ordering and delivery
Timber orders are typically shipped on a palletised service and may require a kerbside drop or handballing off the vehicle; shipping is calculated at checkout and differs between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes. Lengths of up to 2400 mm ship at standard rates, while longer lengths cost significantly more. If you need a shorter length than we stock, our cutting service can trim a longer board to size for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
