This Rento starter bundle gathers three traditional accessories that make sauna bathing more comfortable from the very first session. Inside are a natural birch whisk, the Rento Kenno sauna pillow in beige and the small Rento Kenno seat cover in beige, measuring 50 × 60 cm. Soaked before use, the whisk softens for gentle whisking and lends the room a pleasant birch scent, while the infused water can be ladled onto the stones for fragrant löyly. The pillow offers ample head and neck support on the bench, and the seat cover, made from recycled materials, keeps your seat comfortable beneath you. The pillow and seat cover are made by Finnish sauna specialists Rento.

Using the whisk
Remove the packaging and soak the whisk before entering the sauna: first in cold water for 30 minutes, then in warm (not hot) water for a further 5 minutes. Put fresh water in the sauna bucket for the whisk; the water infused by its branches works well for sauna steam and gives the room a pleasant scent. Begin once your skin has warmed through, whisking yourself or your fellow bathers gently. Birch leaves are traditionally valued for the substances they contain, including essential oils, tanning substances and vitamins C and A.
Care
After the sauna, rinse the whisk lightly and hang it in a cool, dry place. Wash the seat cover before first use and always wash it separately on a gentle 40 °C cycle. Allow for around 5% shrinkage and stretch it back to shape while wet after washing. Iron on a medium heat; do not tumble dry or dry clean.
