This heater holds up to 140kg of sauna stones. We recommend using 5–10cm Olivine Diabase or Vulcanite Sauna Stones for optimal performance.
The Narvi Velvet Electric (Wi-Fi Controlled) delivers a premium sauna experience with refined design and uncompromising quality. Its large 140kg stone capacity produces a long-lasting, deeply relaxing steam throughout your session. The two-part outer casing makes loading stones far easier and more convenient, and the heater can be embedded into the benching with the help of an optional installation flange for a clean, built-in finish. Operated through its separate, minimalist Narvi Flow controller, the Velvet is effortless to use. Like all authentic Narvi products, it is handcrafted in Lapinkylä, Finland, meeting the quality standards of Finnmark's Endurance Ethos.

Narvi Flow, feel the control
The delivery includes the Narvi Flow Wi-Fi controller, which makes using the heater even more effortless and flexible. From the clear interface of the elegant Flow controller you can start the heater, adjust the sauna room temperature, and schedule both the heating start time and operating duration. You navigate the menus using three physical buttons that stay comfortable and reliable even with wet fingers.
You can also control the heater remotely using the free Narvi Flow app, available for mobile devices on the App Store and Google Play. Open the app on your mobile device, start the timer, and perfect steam will be waiting for you when you arrive.
The controller is designed for maximum ease of use and compatibility with a wide range of sauna interiors, styles, and layouts, and can be installed either inside or outside the sauna. Lighting up to 100W can also be connected and operated through it. A door sensor with magnet is included as a safety device for remote heater operation.
Two restricted operating modes make the Velvet ideal for community sauna facilities, short-term rentals, hotels, and families with children:
- On/Off Mode: the user only switches the heater on and off, and it operates according to preset settings.
- Easy Mode: the user adjusts the operating time and temperature but cannot change the system default values.
The delivery package includes the heater, the Flow Wi-Fi controller (6m cable), a door switch, and a separate black temperature sensor.
Installation
This heater must be installed by a qualified electrician and can be fitted on both single-phase and three-phase power supplies. Both the 9kW and 10.5kW models sit within the range typically supported by a single-phase domestic supply.
Correct connection of your Narvi electrical sauna heater in the UK:
- Installation and maintenance must be done by a certified electrician
- Electricity supply must be isolated and/or switched off from the fuse panel prior to any installation or servicing work
- In accordance with European standard IEC 60364-7-703 part 703.412.5, an electrical sauna heater does not have to be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD). This is also in accordance with BS7671:2018 part 703.411.3.3
- For reliable operation, Narvi strongly recommends that the power supply should not be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)
- Other electrical devices in a sauna room should be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)
- The power supply cable must comply with BS7671:2018
- The instruction manual of the product and local electrical regulations must be followed
