Made in Finland by sauna lighting specialists LEDIFY, the KiuasLED spot light is built to sit close to the heat, easily withstanding the steam rising from the heater; that makes it a superb choice for illuminating stone walls and other features behind wood-burning or electric heaters. Its narrow 15° beam places the light precisely where you want it, and the 3000K warm white output matches the rest of the LEDIFY SaunaLED series. Each silver lamp runs on 12 V and comes with its own 5 m connecting cable, extendable to 10 m in total (2 × 5 m) for larger rooms; the low voltage also suits solar-powered installations. Please note these lights are not dimmable.

Installation
Installation is quick and easy for a professional. Drill a Ø 12 mm mounting hole for each lamp; the KiuasLED is held in the hole by its springs, which open up behind the surface. Each lamp carries a 15 cm cable with a quick coupling that attaches to the 5 m connecting cable, also fitted with quick couplings. The cables are heat resistant up to +180°C, so they meet the requirements for sauna installation. KiuasLED wiring should be run behind the sauna wall or roof structures.
The 5 m connecting cables attach to the 16-pin connector of the SaunaLED series with a quick connector. The 16-pin connector is rated IP20, so it must be placed in a dry location; it can sit behind the wall structures. A 5 m cable then connects the 16-pin connector to the transformer with a plug. The SaunaLED IP20 transformer should be placed in a dry space at normal room temperature, for example in the ceiling of the shower room or in the dressing room behind the sauna. If the transformer is installed in the sauna room it must be placed no higher than 1 m; in the sauna room or outdoors it must be protected from water and moisture and cased to achieve a minimum IP44 protection rating.
Replacing a lamp
Thanks to the quick couplings, a KiuasLED lamp can be replaced even after years of use: pull the old lamp out of the mounting hole, disconnect the wiring quick couplings, connect the new lamp to the existing cable and press it into place.
