Description
The IKI cistern brings 80 litres of hot water to an IKI wood-burning sauna stove, heating efficiently while the sauna itself comes up to temperature. The stainless steel cauldron can sit partly on top of the stove or stand in a separate washroom, and the water reaches 60–70 °C in around an hour without boiling. Compatible with the Mini IKI, Original IKI and Maxi IKI stoves, it is available in right- and left-handed versions and comes complete with a stainless steel stand, heat exchanger and two 30 cm silicon tube connecting elements.

Using the cistern
The cistern heats water while the sauna is getting up to temperature; it takes approximately an hour to reach 60–70 °C without reaching boiling temperature. Take care during use, as the water does get hot.
Brand
IKI Kiuas pioneered open-structured sauna heaters, with the stones held visibly in a stainless steel mesh frame so water can be thrown onto the sides of the heater as well as the top. Its heaters are handcrafted in Pieksämäki, Finland by craftsmen with over 40 years’ experience welding black iron and stainless steel.
