Description
The HUUM HIVE Flow is a wood-burning sauna stove engineered for exceptional efficiency: around 75% of the heat from the firewood warms the sauna rather than escaping up the chimney, with an overall efficiency of 74.9% on the full-size model. A large glass furnace door brings the flames into view, a 5 mm thick top and 3 mm sides spread heat evenly, and up to 150 kg of stones (105 kg on the Mini) keeps the warmth and steam coming well after the fire has died down, with a further 35–40 kg possible in the stone cage. Four models are available: the HIVE Flow for rooms of 8–18 m³, the HIVE Flow Mini for 6–14 m³, and LS tunnel versions of each that are fired from an adjacent room. Sauna stones and the flue kit and chimney parts are sold separately.

Installation
The stove connects to the chimney via its 114 mm chimney leg and requires a flue of temperature class T450 with a minimum cross-section of 10,400 mm² and a minimum draught of 12 Pa; flue kits and chimney parts are sold separately. Minimum clearances to combustible materials are 150 mm to the sides and back, 500 mm for distance B, 826 mm in front (750 mm on the Mini) and 1,000 mm to the ceiling; a single protective screen of non-combustible material halves the wall distances and a double screen reduces them by up to 75%, with the ceiling distance reducible by 25% using a single screen. On a combustible floor the stove must stand on the HUUM thermal plate or equivalent non-combustible protection with a ventilation gap of at least 30 mm beneath it, and the LS tunnel models are fired through an opening in a non-combustible wall. Installation must follow the manual in the Downloads tab, EN 15821:2010 and local building regulations, and the stove may only be connected to the chimney by a specialist.
Sauna stones
The Flow and Flow LS take up to 150 kg of 50–150 mm stones and the Mini models 105 kg, all sold separately, with a further 35–40 kg possible in the stone cage. Wash the stones before laying them.
