Description
The HUUM CORE Wall Combi is a wall-mounted electric sauna heater with a built-in 2 kW steamer, combining traditional dry sauna heat and steam in a single compact unit. Its wall-hung form, 551 mm tall and 400 mm wide, keeps the sauna floor completely clear, while a 20 kg stone capacity delivers consistent, long-lasting heat and the steamer draws from a 5 litre water tank with its own scent basin. In black, it is offered at 4.5 kW, 6 kW and 9 kW for sauna rooms from 3 to 13 m³, connecting to a single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V supply; a white version is available separately. Designed and built in Estonia, the Core Wall Combi requires a HUUM UKU control console (UKU Local or UKU Wi-Fi) and sauna stones, both sold separately.

Installation
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by a certified electrician, with the electricity supply isolated at the fuse panel before any work begins. Under IEC 60364-7-703 and BS 7671:2018 an electric sauna heater does not have to be connected through an RCD, and for reliable operation the manufacturer recommends that the heater supply is not run through one; other electrical devices in the sauna room should be RCD protected. A local point of isolation covering all live conductors is recommended. The installation manual in the Downloads tab and local wiring regulations must be followed. The heater accepts a single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V supply; when connecting to a single-phase supply, follow the separate single-phase connection note in the Downloads tab. A heat-resistant rubber-insulated cable (SiHF-JB or equivalent) must be used, never PVC-insulated cable, and the manufacturer requires crimped ferrules on the power cable ends. The wall structure must carry the full weight of the heater with stones, approximately 50 kg, and the temperature and safety sensor must sit in the designated area shown in the manual; placed elsewhere, the minimum clearance to the ceiling increases to 1,400 mm. A safety railing around the heater is recommended to prevent accidental contact, and HUUM offers one as an accessory. When sizing the heater, add 1 m³ to the calculated room volume for every square metre of uninsulated brick, tile or glass wall.
Steamer
The integrated steamer has a 2 kW output and a 5 litre water tank, with a steamer cover and scent basin included in the box. The steamer connection is configured for the HUUM UKU control system; if another control system is used, follow that manufacturer’s connection guidance.
Sauna stones
The heater takes approximately 20 kg of sauna stones, sold separately. The manufacturer specifies natural stones of 5–10 cm diameter, such as olivine diabase or olivine, and recommends cracked stones for better airflow and heat distribution. Lay the stones one by one, tightly enough that the heating elements are not visible, and never place stones under the element retainer. Inspect the stones after 100 hours of use, rearrange them and replace any cracked stones after 200 hours, and replace the full set after 400 hours; defects caused by unsuitable stones are not covered by the warranty.
Brand
HUUM designs and manufactures its sauna heaters in Estonia, pairing age-old sauna knowledge with smart technology and modern Nordic design; its DROP heater won a Red Dot Award for product design in 2015.
Warranty
Full details are set out in HUUM’s Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions. Heating elements are excluded from the warranty, as are defects caused by unsuitable stones, and the warranty is not valid if the heater output does not correspond to the calculated volume of the sauna room.
