Description
The Helo Elite Free is a cloud-connected touchscreen control panel for Helo electric sauna heaters and steam generators, letting you start, schedule and monitor your sauna from the 4.5 inch (11.4 cm) screen or from the Helo Control app wherever you are. It connects over a local 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, comes pre-registered for the cloud, and can also run additional equipment such as lighting, auxiliary fans and fragrance pumps. It works directly with the Elite versions of the Himalaya, Rocher and Roxx heaters, and controls the Hanko D, Cup D, Vienna D, Havanna D, Laine D, Laava, Magma, SKLE and SKLA heaters through a WE contactor box, which is sold separately. The panel is best placed just outside the sauna; installed inside, the ambient temperature must stay below 80 °C, and a door switch (sold separately) is required for the calendar functions and for Wi-Fi use with sauna and Combi heaters.

Installation
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by a certified electrician, with the electricity supply isolated before any work begins. The panel mounts on the supplied bracket or double-sided adhesive, with a 30 mm hole through the wall for the cable when wall-mounted; inside the sauna or steam room it must be fixed directly to the wall with the adhesive or the Helo embedding frame (item no. 90001056), and the Wi-Fi signal strength should be checked before the panel is finally fixed. The installation manual in the Downloads tab and local wiring regulations must be followed.
