Finnmark's Sauna Design & Specification Service

At Finnmark, we believe in creating the perfect sauna tailored to your vision. We understand that designing and building a bespoke sauna is a significant investment, and therefore it is essential we ensure every single detail is considered during the design phase.

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we are proud to offer our Design & Specification Service. This service provides complete clarity and precision before you commit to a substantial investment, ensuring your dream sauna meets your exact needs and requirements.

What’s Included:

1. In-Depth Sauna Design Consultation
Your journey begins with a detailed sauna design session with one of our expert Bespoke Design Consultants, lasting approximately 1 hour. During this session, we’ll seek to understand your dream sauna in detail, including approximate dimensions, features and functionality, as well as specifics regarding heater options, timber preferences, and overall design. Please feel free to bring any sauna inspiration to this meeting, or draw inspiration from past Finnmark Sauna Installations. The goal is to leave this meeting with a better understanding of your entire sauna project, allowing Finnmark to finalise a comprehensive design brief for your project.

2. Initial On-Site Survey (Subject to location and availability)
Once your design brief is complete, your sauna consultant will schedule an on-site survey, lasting approximately one hour. During this visit, you’ll:

• Review timber cladding and bench samples.
• Examine a virtual 3D model of your sauna.
• Have precise measurements taken of your space.
• Discuss any questions or specific nuances and requirements of your project.

3. Initial 3D Render and 2D Drawings
Using the finalised brief and site survey data, our in-house engineering and design teams will create:

• A 3D render, complete with lighting visualisations.
• 2D technical drawings, including mechanical and electrical specifications as needed.

These tools provide a clear and tangible vision of your future sauna.

4. Build Specification Guidance
Your Bespoke Consultant will walk you through the key elements required to bring your sauna to life. This includes:

• Outlining responsibilities for each stage of the build.
• Detailing requirements for third-party contractors, such as electricians and plumbers to ensure clear accountability of all works required.
• Addressing all build-related questions and preparation needs for full peace of mind.

Our meticulous approach ensures no detail is overlooked and removes unnecessary stress and pressure from the build process.

5. Fixed Price Quotation
At Finnmark, we provide fixed, accurate quotations—never vague estimates. Through the Design & Specification Service, we guarantee a transparent and reliable price for your dream sauna, avoiding unexpected costs or assumptions later in the process.

Your quotation will include a detailed breakdown of all agreed-upon elements and remains valid for seven days, allowing ample time for additional discussions with your Bespoke Consultant.

Service Fee
The total cost for our Design & Specification Service is £1,440.00 (including VAT), payable in advance.

Please Note: Design Revisions & Redesigns

We encourage you to be clear and detailed during your initial consultation to ensure our team fully understands your vision. We aim for complete satisfaction with the initial design; however, if you require further revisions or redesign work, it will be billed for in advance by the hour, to cover the additional engineering and design time.

Christmas and New Year's Shipping Update (Updated 2nd December 2025)

Please note the following changes to our pallet shipping and DPD delivery service on parcel orders over the Christmas period.

Our warehouse is fully closed for operation over the following days: Wednesday 24 December, Thursday 25 December, Friday 26 December, Wednesday 31 December and Thursday 1 January.

Orders requiring a pallet

The last dispatch date for orders requiring a pallet is Friday 19th December 2025. Pallet orders dispatched on this day must be booked and signed for with one of our sales team in advance.

Please note:

• Pallets dispatched on 19th December will be delivered on either 22nd or 23rd December, depending on your postcode
• We strongly advise against booking deliveries to the Highlands or Channel Islands close to the 19th December, as these may be held at the hub over the festive period
• There may be limited availability for pallet shipping on this day and we cannot guarantee that available slots remain

We will commence our regular pallet shipping service on Monday 5th January 2026.

Small Parcel Orders

DPD will deliver as normal up to and including Tuesday 23rd December 2025. Our daily cut-off for next day delivery is 2pm, with orders placed by 3pm on Tuesday 23rd December being our final dispatch before Christmas. Whilst we use a DPD Next Day delivery service, this is not a guarantee - please order earlier to avoid disappointment.

Limited dispatch service: We will dispatch DPD orders on Monday 29th December and Tuesday 30th December only during the festive closure period.

We will commence our regular delivery service on Monday 5th January 2026.

*Estimated delivery times are applicable to the UK mainland only (excludes Highlands and Islands). Additional delays and charges will be required for Non-UK Mainland and Highlands and Islands deliveries.
