Description
Finnfoam's FF-PIR SAUNA board is a tongue and groove polyurethane insulation panel, manufactured in Finland for the walls and ceilings of a sauna. A diffusion-proof aluminium laminate on both faces makes each 30 mm board a combined thermal insulation layer and vapour barrier, so there is no need to build up separate layers. The boards resist moisture and hold their performance in hot, humid conditions, and they can also serve as additional heat insulation in dry rooms. Each pack contains ten boards of 600 × 1200 mm, a size that handles easily in tight or complex spaces. To complete the vapour-tight envelope, seal all seams with polyurethane foam and heat-resistant aluminium tape, both sold separately.

| Certification | CE certified to EN 13165; Declaration of Performance available |
| Surface properties | Mould-proof and vapour-proof |
| Country of manufacture | Finland |
Installation
Fit the boards to the sauna walls and ceiling with the tongue-and-groove edges locked together, then seal all seams with polyurethane foam (such as SoudaFoam or Pinkgrip) and heat-resistant aluminium tape to create a fully vapour-tight envelope. The boards are lightweight, suit both professionals and self-builders, and can be shaped with common woodworking tools or scored and snapped with a utility knife. Their 600 × 1200 mm format makes them easy to install in small spaces, and they are also suitable as additional heat insulation inside dry rooms.
Delivery
Insulation boards are shipped through courier freight networks and, despite careful packaging and fragile labelling, minor nicks and dents to corners and edges can occur in transit. These do not affect the boards' integrity or performance once installed with tape and foam, so claims are only considered for catastrophic damage such as large missing sections of foam. If you have any questions before ordering, contact support@finnmarksauna.com.
