SikaSeal® Fire Guard is a one-part, water-based ablative acoustic sealant that gives a firm yet flexible seal to joints across a range of internal fire-rated structures. In a suitably designed joint, it resists the passage of fire for up to four hours while holding a dependable acoustic seal.

• When exposed to heat, it swells to more than 150% of its original size, forming a protective char that holds back fire for up to four hours.
• No priming required on most construction substrates, for a faster and cleaner application.
• Permanently flexible, with more than 100% elongation to ISO 8339, so the seal moves with the joint rather than against it.
