This ready-made thermo aspen corner bench skirt gives sauna benching a neat, finished look by covering the bench framing timber at the corners. The module measures 300 mm high by 400 mm long in 14 mm thick thermo aspen, and is easy to install alongside our other ready-made bench elements. Natural heat treatment gives the timber a honey-brown colouration, a pleasant toasted scent and a tough, rot-resistant structure that releases no resin in sauna conditions.

Thermo aspen is created by heat-treating the soft timber. This natural heat treatment reduces the moisture level of the wood, giving it a tough, rot-resistant structure that does not secrete resin in the high temperatures and humidity of a sauna.
