The Thermory SI moulding is a corner trim in aspen, measuring 14 × 30 mm and supplied in 2400 mm lengths, four to a pack. Fixed into the corners of the sauna, around the edges of the ceiling and where the walls meet, its small concave face sits neatly against the cladding and covers any gaps between the panels and the corner of the room. Corner mouldings are easily overlooked in DIY builds, yet they are the finishing touch that makes a sauna interior look complete. Aspen is our lightest sauna wood, straight-grained with few if any knots, ranging from light brown to nearly white, and it releases no resin.

Timber
Aspen is our lightest sauna wood, with a uniform, straight grain that gives an elegant, modern aesthetic. Its colour ranges from light brown to nearly white, with few to no knots, and it does not weep resin. For a bolder look, aspen can be mixed with a darker timber to create a unique design.
Profile
The SI moulding is fixed into the corners of the sauna space: around the edges of the ceiling and in the corners where the walls meet. Its small concave face sits neatly on the cladding face and covers any gaps between the cladding panels and the corner of the room, creating a smooth finish to the interior through its inward-facing edges.
Quality & Wastage
This is A-grade timber, durable and knot-free with a low risk of splintering. We recommend a wastage allowance of 15% for aspen corner moulding, which also covers the risk of minor damage in transit. Contact us if you are unsure how much you need for your build.

Timber orders travel on a palletised shipping service, with costs calculated at checkout; rates differ between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes, and deliveries may be kerbside. We normally ship lengths of up to 2400 mm, beyond which shipping costs rise significantly. If we stock a longer length than you need, our cutting service can cut it down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
