Description
Thermory's STP profile cladding in aspen is a refined choice for sauna walls and ceilings, its narrow grooves and rounded edges settling into a soft, even surface. Aspen is the lightest of the sauna timbers, close to white with a straight and almost knot-free grain, and it does not weep resin in the heat. Grooves behind each board let condensation drain to the floor. Boards measure 15 × 90 mm with an 80 mm effective width, supplied in packs of six and lengths of 2100 mm or 2400 mm.

Timber
Aspen is the lightest sauna wood, ranging from light brown to nearly white with a uniform, straight grain and few to no knots. It does not weep resin, which makes it a favourite for home saunas, and it pairs well with darker timbers for contrast. See the full Aspen Sauna Wood range.
Profile
The STP profile offers an elegant wall surface with narrow gaps between boards and rounded front edges that appear softer than Kallio or STS4 cladding. Grooves behind each panel allow condensed steam to run down and drain to the floor. STP boards combine well with other profiles for a unique look. Quality & Wastage
This is A-grade timber: durable, knot free and with a low risk of splintering. We recommend a 15% wastage allowance for aspen cladding, which also covers the risk of damage in transit. As a natural product, timber shows some colour variation between packs and batches. Lifestyle images are representational; the final look varies with the width and placement of the cladding.
