White Cover Stones sit as a decorative top layer over the stones already in your heater, bringing a crisp, distinctive finish to modern, designer and traditional saunas alike. Their curved shape lets ladled water percolate down to the stones below, so the steam that rises is noticeably softer. Suitable for both wood-burning and electric heaters, the white colour can be chosen to match or contrast with your heater or wall panelling. Because their heat capacity and transfer are not comparable with olivine diabase, they belong only on the very surface of the stone stack. Each box contains 10 kg of stones at approximately 5–10 cm.

Using the stones
Lay the white stones over the top of your existing heater stones as a surface finish; the curved shape allows water to percolate through to the lower stones, producing a softer steam. Use them only on the very surface of the heater, as their heat capacity and heat transfer properties are not comparable with those of olivine diabase.
