Menthol crystals (laevomentholum) bring an intensely fresh peppermint note to the sauna. Made from 100% natural Japanese peppermint oil and gently freeze-dried to preserve the scent, they are simple to use: add one to three crystals to your ladle for an infusion, place them in an evaporator bowl, or lay them dry on the hot stones. The vapour carries a cool, invigorating menthol note through the room that many bathers find helps them breathe more freely. A little goes a long way, and this 30 g pack is enough for up to 30 sessions in a sauna of around 4 m². Take care that molten crystals stay on the stones and never touch the heating elements directly.

Using the crystals
