It suits wood burning sauna heater installations where the flue leaves the back of the stove and passes through the wall before rising on the outside. Because the flue exits at the rear rather than the top, the set uses a short, cuttable single-wall adapter in place of the taller single-wall run and elbow found in our standard through the wall set, which makes it a tidy choice for more compact rooms. On the heater itself, the top spigot used for a vertical connection is interchangeable with the blanking plate on the rear, allowing the flue outlet to be moved from the top to the back of the heater for this rear-exit configuration.
